Eavan was a relentless advocate for emerging poets, particularly those whose work had been underrepresented and marginalised. She was a revolutionary poet, a searing talent, and a formidable artist. To her peers, students, and readers, she was an examplar of courage, generosity, and unfailing friendship. These are only a few of her qualities we wish to celebrate in this short tribute. Contributors include Paula Meehan, Tobias Wolff, Paul McCarrick, Maria Hummel, Roisin Kelly, Bruce Snider, Dr Jody Allen Randolf, Sarah Casey and Niamh O’Donnell.
This tribute will take place digitally on YouTube on Tuesday 27 April at 7.00pm (IST) and 11.00am (PT) and registration is recommended.
