11 Feb – 18th March (Mon-Fri 12:00-19:00)
Centre for Creative Practices (CFCP), 15 Pembroke Street, Dublin 2
The exhibition “Love Letters” will warm your heart this February and might inspire you to write the old fashioned way! To coincide with this year’s Valentine’s Day the CFCP has decided to celebrate not only love, but the good old fashioned art of letter writing.
They have an amazing archive of love letters -some recent, some very old, some funny, some heart-breaking and all of them thought provoking.
And they are also displaying a selection of art works submitted by artists interpreting the love letter theme in their chosen media.

Mags Harnett’s Scribe 2 Scribe is an imagined dialogue between two scribes who are writing the Book of Kells.
The dialogue is set in the 9th century but the language used, propels it into the 21st century.
It’s not written in Latin but in English using modern text speak! LOL
