Murder One Releases 25 Rover Weekend Tickets

Tickets are selling fast for Murder One, Ireland’s international crime writing festival taking place in Dublin’s Smock Alley Theatre 2nd-4th November and Murder One have just released a limited edition rover weekend ticket for attendees keen to see the full line up. There are currently only 25 available so don’t hang about!

A stellar cast of crime and thriller writers will be appearing with a host international authors including Lynda La Plante, Peter James, Val McDermid, Mark Billingham, Clare Mackintosh, Lisa Jewell, Ruth Ware, Mick Herron and Robert Goddard together with many of your favourite Irish crime writers including Liz Nugent, Jane Casey, Patricia Gibney, Jo Spain, Karen Perry, Catherine Ryan Howard, Andrea Carter, Anthony J Quinn, Shane Dunphy, William Ryan, Sam Blake and many more.

Murder One will feature readings and interviews with Irish and international authors, panel events, a speakers’ corner and forensics and writing workshops. Featuring several free events, plus a bookshop and coffee shop there is something for everyone at Murder One.

International bestseller, Michael Connelly will open the festival with a special preview event on October 28th at 2.00pm in City Hall with Declan Burke moderating. (SOLD OUT)

Queen of crime Lynda La Plante brings festival attendees a unique free workshop for anyone interested in the world of forensics or Crime Scene Investigation. This interactive event is hosted by Think Forensic whose experts include CSI’s, forensic scientists, and senior investigating officers. In Lynda La Plante’s CSI Murder Room, get a hands on introduction to forensic science and be briefed on the crime of the day, inspired by Lynda’s newest thriller Murder Mile. Lynda herself will be interviewed by Niamh O’Connor on Saturday 3rd November, talking about Murder Mile and the Steve McQueen movie due out in November, based on her novel Widows.

The Murder One exclusive weekend rover pass will get you into all events programmed for Smock Alley Theatre* 2nd -4th November 2018  (excluding Lynda La Plante’s CSI Murder Room which is free but must be booked separately) for just €130.00 (full entrance fee for every event would be €156.00 – plus booking fees).

* Please note this ticket does not include the Michael Connelly event (28th October) or the Writing Workshops held in Pearse Street Library on 2nd November.

* Late attendance to any event cannot be facilitated, please ensure that you arrive in plenty of time to find a seat.
