The Book Resort: a New Book Subscription Box in Ireland
A new monthly book subscription box is getting reading for a busy Christmas. The Book Resort, which is based in Waterford in the south east of Ireland, is Ireland’s newest subscription box and is already getting plenty of Christmas orders.
The Book Resort is offering a sweet and simple book and chocolate discovery experience.
The Book Resort delivers a monthly box containing a brand new book, Irish chocolate and a small surprise to book lovers around the world. Subscription options or a one time gift box can be chosen.
Customers may choose the genre of book they would like and many are choosing the surprise option. There is an option of many genres, including action, thriller, suspense, bestseller, surprise, fantasy or horror. You may also request an Irish author. The books chosen are always new, recently published and paperback size. Previous books have included Lies, Lies, Lies by Adele Parks, The Gift of Friends by Emma Hannigan and The Secretary by Renee Knight. The Book Resort is always on the look out for new authors.
The chocolate is sourced from Irish chocolatiers, and past boxes have included delicious bars from Wilde Irish Chocolate, The Chocolate Garden of Ireland, Skelligs Chocolate & Butlers Chocolate. The chocolate is proving to be a big hit, and in the coming months new chocolatiers will be introduced.
The surprises in previous boxes have included products from companies such as The Moher Soap Company, Dublin Herbalists, Faith Soap Creations to name but a few. Again these are all Irish companies, producing beautiful local skincare and wellness products. The products have included lip balms, bath bombs & candles. Men are also catered for with hair wax, beard & body soap being included in their boxes. The Book Resort has some beautiful products lined up for the next couple of months which is sure to delight its customers. The Book Resort will continue to support and promote small Irish businesses.
The choice to have a card included in a gift box is proving very popular with people sending gifts to loved ones. The cards included in the boxes are from Little Bow Print, a stationery and printing company also located in Waterford. Little Bow Print have gorgeous cards and customers can request these cards be included with a handwritten message of their choosing. There is no extra charge for this.
The products are arrive in a beautiful branded black box, with a tamper proof seal. The packaging ensures the products lock in place and are well presented to give a very pleasant unboxing experience. The boxes may of course be reused for storage purposes or recycled.
The Book Resort offers free tracked delivery by courier in Ireland and Northern Ireland. Shipping charges to Europe are EUR7 and the rest of the world is EUR12.
The boxes are priced @ EUR23 for a monthly subscription and EUR25 for a one time gift box. Advance subscriptions are proving very popular for Christmas and have a number of different options. Three months subscriptions are EUR68, a six month subscriptions is EUR135 and a twelve month subscription is EUR265.
The customer service is excellent as there is a no fuss return and exchange. If you have read the book before or don’t like the book or would like another book instead, simply get in contact and they will send you another book immediately. You do not even have to send back the original book, you may gift it to someone else who likes to read. Similarly with cancellations, its easy to do and no fuss and returns are accepted.
