Listowel Writers’ Week

Writers’ Week is Ireland’s first and longest running literary festival. Since 1971, writers and readers congregate in the heritage town of Listowel at the end of May to celebrate the written and spoken word. With an annual prize fund in excess of €50,000 we are proud to support novelists, poets and short story writers at all stages of their career. Our workshops and master classes cater for all experience levels,from eager beginners to seasoned masters. Our programme of events across all genres truly has something for everyone.
