Welcome back to another week in the charts, where we have a new no. 1, knocking The Midnight Library by Matt Haig and Mothering Heights by Dave Pilkey into nos. 2 and 3 respectively! The Hitmen: the Shocking True Story of a Family of Killers for Hire by Stephen Breen and Owen Conlon has really captured our attention and gone straight to no. 1 of both the Paperback Non-Fiction and the Top 20. Crime and thrillers being popular at the moment, it’s joined in the Top 20 by the new Harlan Coben, The Win, and the return of Richard Osmond’s endearing and enduring The Thursday Murder Club, along with Jeffrey Archer with Turn A Blind Eye and Jeanine Cummins’ American Dirt.

Other brand new bestsellers which have hit the charts after only a couple of days on the shelves, beside Breen and Conlon, include the latest instalment of the fantastic Skulduggery Pleasant books by Derek Landy, Dead or Alive, and a new one from Ross O’Carroll Kelly which has gone down as well as always, RO’CK of Ages: From boom days to Zoom Days.

This week’s featured book is one that has been lurking in the charts for a while now, almost a year in fact. How to Be Good With Money by Eoin McGee—described as ‘Ireland’s No. 1 Personal Finance Book’—is in at no. 15 in the Top 20; after a more than a year, that’s pretty impressive and we can probably all benefit! Here’s the blurb:

Do you want to know:

How best to spend the money you have?

How best to get out of debt?

How to start saving for the things that matter to you? How to look after your financial future?

How to retire early?

Join author, TV host and financial planner Eoin McGee, as he shares his complete programme for financial well-being in this life-changing book.

By discovering the rules of spending and saving, you can feel safe in the knowledge that your money will support the life you want to live. Whatever your budget, you can create a solid financial plan, allowing you to rest assured that the future is well looked after.

And now the charts, with the Top 20 followed by the Top 10 in each category.
