Welcome to this week’s Irish bestselling books where non-fiction and children’s titles have really made a splash this week. In Non-Fiction, we’ve got All In by Peter O’Mahony and Not the Perfect Victim by Nikita Hand, both straight in at nos. 3 and 4 respectively.
And while Gruffalo Granny, not unexpectedly, continues to dominate the top of the charts, we’re thrilled that another Irish children’s author has also hit the Top 20 on release, with this week’s featured book, Disaster Dad: Animal Antics by Irish rugby star Donncha O’Callaghan with Karen Owen has come in at no. 14 in the Top 20 and no. 2 in the Children’s Top 10!
Here’s the blurb:
Disaster Dad is back, and this time he’s heading to the wildlife park with Finn, Emma and their whole class!
Dad has one mission: snap the perfect photo with the new baby giraffe and get it named after him. Easy, right?
Not when Disaster Dad’s involved!
Can Finn and Emma keep him out of trouble long enough to meet the giraffe?
Packed with laughs, animal antics and one very determined dad, this is a roaring adventure for readers aged 7+ who love mischief, mayhem, and a whole lot of heart.
And now this week’s charts, with the Top 20 followed by the Top 10 in each category. Data supplied by Nielsen BookScan taken from the Irish Consumer Market.
