Irish Bestsellers 7th January 2017
And welcome to the first charts of 2017! The Top 20 doesn’t have much going on; the Wimpy Kid and Graham Norton are holding tightly on to their leads, and while Joe Wicks takes the top spot in the UK (in fact, Lean in 15 books 1, 2 and 3 are in the top three places), over here he has to settle for third place. Where we really are seeing some new entries are in the Top 10s, where the Mass Market Fiction has several new entries including the paperback release of The Muse by Jessie Burton, and Paperback Non-Fiction is paved with good intentions. We have all three of Joe Wicks’ books, along with others such as Bikini Body 28-Day Healthy Eating and Lifestyle Guide by Kayla Itsines, and Commit! Make Your Mind and Body Stronger and Unlock Your Full Potential by Enda McNulty. Also in this section, one of last year’s most beautiful and poignant books, When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi who died while working on this book.
