Call for Submissions

Femme Fatale
Editor: Lana Fox
Publisher: Go Deeper Press <http://godeeperpress.com>
Deadline: October 31st, 2012
Payment: $25 per story; We buy first digital rights

We’re after stories from 1,500 to 4,000 words.

The editors of Go Deeper Press (www.godeeperpress.com) are looking for original, erotic stories about femme fatales.  Rather than using the femme fatales that already exist in story and film, we encourage unique characters, whether they’re set in modern or historical times.  From the leather clad biker girl to the socialite who’s dripping in diamonds, these female and female-identified women will seduce with a promise of danger.  Think hardboiled, shadowy or moonlit locations, lipstick, cigarettes, and neat whiskies.  We’d also like to see femme fatales from a variety of cultures.  All sexual identities welcome, including queer characters, doms and subs.  Deadline:  October 31st, 2012

Please submit stories in a word document, using a 12-point serif font such as Georgia or Times New Roman.  One inch margins please.  If you are using a pen name, please include both your real name and pen name in your email cover letter and on the manuscript itself.  Please also include a list of previous publications—and if you are a new writer, let us know that you are committed to editing your work.  Submit to: submissions-AT-godeeperpress.com

Launch date: December 1st, 2012 (we may launch earlier)
We buy first digital rights
For each story in “Femme Fatale” we will pay 25 bucks per story.
