Submissions deadline: April 15th 2022
In November 2022, Stinging Fly will publish a special All New Writers issue, dedicated entirely to showcasing work by writers they have not published before.
Writers submitting to this issue must either live on the island of Ireland or else consider Ireland to be their home. Submissions will be open from Tuesday March 1st until Friday April 15th 2022.
Stinging Fly will be open for submissions from international writers again before the end of the year.
Contributing editor and novelist Lisa McInerney will lead the team of experienced writers and editors working on this issue. Stinging Fly aim to offer selected writers any assistance they need in preparing their work for publication. They want this issue to properly reflect the range of new work being produced in Ireland today and to showcase writers of all ages and backgrounds.
Writers of fiction, poetry and creative non-fiction who have not yet been published in The Stinging Fly are encouraged to submit work for this issue. They ask everyone reading this to please help us to spread the word so that this call for submissions reaches as many people as possible.
