The Writer’s Coffee Shop was founded in September 2009 by a group of friends, brought together by a common goal: Providing a fun environment in which to enjoy literature. The business is based and registered in Australia, with offices in the United States.
Originally, the site was established to impart news and information about what was happening in the community, but it quickly grew when there was a need for a friendly, easy-going environment in which to post and read fan fiction or original stories. Hence, on January 26, 2010, The Library went live.
They say “We’re not just here for the authors, but for the readers too, making sure everyone is treated with equal importance. There are many features within TWCS, including chat rooms and shout boxes that enable authors and readers from around the world to come together.
Club Java is a way for members to help the site by becoming VIP members. It also allows us to give a more personalized service and say thank you with discounts and avatar chat, along with many other features. Our VIP service is continually growing and has really made the site possible to expand.
The Publishing House was a dream of the founders back in September 2009, as a place to help aspiring authors achieve their dreams. It has taken just over a year to launch, with a lot of hard work behind the scenes.”
