Poetry with Pride

Belfast Pride’s annual poetry event, Poetry with Pride, returns this year with a night of readings at The MAC, Belfast. This year, we’re teaming up with The Lifeboat to promote their new anthology of LGBT+ poetry, Queering the Green, alongside this year’s Poetry with Pride magazine.

THE MAGAZINE:
Belfast Pride is now seeking submissions for 2022’s Poetry with Pride magazine – a limited-run publication celebrating queer poetry in Belfast. We’re especially eager to publish poetry by members of the LGBT+ community in Belfast but we also welcome submissions from LGBT+ further afield.

Printed copies of the magazine will be available at this year’s Poetry with Pride event at The MAC on Wednesday 27th July, with remaining copies available throughout the festival. All profits will go towards poetry events at Belfast Pride Festival 2023!

Submissions guidelines: Poems to be no longer than 30 lines, with a maximum of three poems per submission.
Deadline for submissions: 13th July 2022.
