About this Event
With the Editorial Director of Corvus Books, Sarah Hodgson introducing the event, join author Sam Blake, TV presenter Andrea Hayes and paranormal researcher Tina Barcoe for an evening of murder, mystery and ghostly chat at the online launch of Sam’s latest thriller, The Dark Room, hosted by literary agent Simon Trewin.
Simon will be quizzing Sam about the influences that came together to produce The Dark Room and she will give a short reading.
The Dark Room is set in a fictional country house hotel, Hare’s Landing in West Cork – in conversation with Andrea Hayes, Tina will reveal some of the real big houses she has investigated and the paranormal events that have occurred in them. In The Dark Room, Rachel and Caroline are guided by some very insistent presences, but what stories has Tina uncovered in her research?
Tina Barcoe is the co-founder of Paranormal Researchers Ireland (PRI), a facebook group with over 22,000 members who describe themselves as sceptics, psychics, believers and non believers. Tina and her team have been investigating paranormal activity in Ireland and beyond for many years, and having built a vast knowledge and experience of the paranormal, she is a well respected member of the community. Tina has investigated key locations around Ireland including Loftus Hall, the Hellfire Club, Wicklow Jail, Malahide Castle, Leap Castle and Ducketts Grove, always determined to establish the voracity of a sighting or paranormal activity. Having delivered many presentations, talks and interviews on the paranormal, she is one of Ireland’s leading experts in the field.
Hare’s Landing is a house full of secrets, join us at 7.30pm on Thursday January 14th for an evening of mystery and ghostly goings on.
