By submitting the Work to the Mining Memories,· Writing & Me or other sections of Writing.ie, the Author warrants to the Publisher that the work is original to them and that they have the right and permission to submit the Work to Writing.ie. The Author further warrants that in the instance of Work submitted to Tell Your Own Story, that the Work is true and not a fabrication, that the Work is not libelous and that any facts contained in the Work are wholly true.
The Author of the Work retains full copyright of the Work. However by submitting the Work to Writing.ie the Author agrees to grant the Publisher an irrevocable and non-exclusive and royalty free licence to publish, adapt and reproduce the Work in any form and to licence the Work in any form for the duration of copyright.
All submissions must adhere to our Dignity and Respect Policy and are published subject to editorial agreement. Our Dignity and Respect Policy ensures that users can visit Writing.ie in the knowledge that it is a safe and productive environment, free from bullying or harassment where their well-being is considered and protected. All editorial decisions are final.

- The Work: The piece of content being submitted
- The Author: The person submitting the Work
- The Publisher: Writing.ie and its associated companies
