I just wanted to say that I’m delighted to be joining the other fabulous bloggers on writing.ie – there is such a wealth of talent in Ireland, I’m looking forward to helping increase coverage – from up and coming writers to published authors.
This blog, The Front Row, will cover events from throughout Ireland – from open mic sessions, to book launches, to festivals; anything and everything that I get the chance to attend that included writing (so film, theatre and literature) will be reviewed on here. So, even if you can’t get to an event, hopefully you’ll be able to keep an eye on what’s going on and get a feel for the quality of the arts in Ireland.
Now, I have decamped from the bustle of Dublin city to the laid-back lifestyle of West Cork, but don’t worry – I’ll still be getting around and bringing you as much coverage as I can.
And of course, if you hear of anything that’s going on, please let me know! I’ll also be accepting guest posts for events that I can’t attend. If you’re interested, you can leave a comment below.
I’ll have an overview of events at the Cork Spring Literary Festival for you soon. Watch this space!
